About Arina Lanis

Arina Lanis is a well-known designer, photographer, and entertaining expert who has been part of the wedding and special events scene for over 15 years. Although Arina's full-time passion has always been and currently still is in food/product photography and graphic design, she loves to step away from the computer and do something artistic with her hands, predominantly through creating ideas for entertaining and party planning.

Arina's love for design was evident while building her multi-faceted graphic design and marketing business, FLAVORS MEDIA. This love has taken her in many exciting directions in the party planning and special events industry which include magazine publishing, designing, and TV appearances.

Arina initially stepped into the wedding scene when she launched Wedding-Club.com in 1998 as the first major web project created by her graphic design company.

Wedding-Club.com was an exclusive community dedicated to spotlighting the top wedding professionals in St. Louis, and later, around the country. Wedding-Club.com went national in 2003 and allowed wedding vendors from all over the country to be part of an elite group of qualified and talented wedding professionals who strived for integrity and honesty in the wedding community.

After selling Wedding-Club.com, Arina followed her passion for party planning and entertaining by launching a publication that focused on just that. The first issue was launched under the name of RSVP Perfect and later re-branded to be St. Louis Entertains. The publication focused on elegant and stylish tips on entertaining, party planning, cooking, and featured St. Louisans entertaining in their homes. The magazine was the stepping stone to many new media sources including TV appearances. While promoting her magazine, she became a regular guest on Great Day St. Louis, a local CBS station.

After moving from St. Louis to Kansas City in 2010, Arina continued to grow FLAVORS MEDIA and helping her clients launch award-winning web sites, advertising campaigns, and corporate identities.

Recently, Arina launched Partytipz.com, a web site dedicated to inspiring people to plan beautiful parties in Kansas City, St. Louis, and the world! She has been invited by KCTV Channel 5 to be one of the experts on Better Kansas City, a morning lifestyle TV show that features local Kansas City talent.

Arina continues to grow her design business, FLAVORS MEDIA, while regularly contributing to Partytipz.com. She lives with her husband and two boys in Kansas City.
