Pineapple Wasabi Meatballs

This appetizer is not only easy but beautiful. It has been a hit at all my gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg ready made meatballs
  • 14 oz can pineapples
  • wasabi

Preparation

Purchase ready-made meatballs — most flavors are fine as long as they are not covered in tomato sauce. Teriyaki and Pineapple flavor is the best; however, if you cannot find this flavor, just make sure to marinate the meatballs in the pineapple juice drained from the can (anywhere from 30 minutes to 24 hours, depending on the preference).

Prepare meatballs according to package directions. Place meatballs on platter to use as a work surface. On the top of each meatball place a small dot of wasabi (paste or sauce is fine) spoon some pineapples over the wasabi.

Place each meatball on an appetizer spoon or pierce with a fork and arrange on a plate.
