Super Simple Chocolate Bliss Martini

Creating a chocolate martini can be as complicated as you want it to be, but it doesn't take much to make a delicious one.

Ingredients

  • 4 - 5 oz Godiva Original Chocolate Liqueur
  • 1/2 shot Vodka (you can do a full shot if you want!)
  • Chocolate for melting

Preparation

Keeping with our simplicity theme, I prepared some martini glasses the day before by dipping their rims in chocolate and refrigerating them. The left-over chocolate was spread on a sheet of parchment paper and also refrigerated. The chocolate dries on the rim SUPER fast! You don't have to refrigerate it if you will serving the drinks in 1/2 hour or less. You can also sprinkle a bit of chocolate or gold sprinkles on the chocolate rim... if you want to get super creative!

When you are ready to make the drink, fill a cocktail shaker with ice, 4-5 oz of Godiva Original Chocolate Liqueur and 1/2 shot of vodka. Shake until the shaker is nice and frosty and you can tell that the drink is nice and cold... 30 seconds should do it! Crush the leftover chocolate (on the parchment paper in the refrigerator) into pieces and sprinkled it on the drink. The smaller pieces will stay on top, while the larger pieces will sink to the bottom, giving your guests an extra sweet chocolatey surprise, just when they thought their drink was finished.

This drink is so good, we recommend you don't wait for a party to try it.
