Pig Cookies
Your kids will love these cookies and you will LOVE how easy they are to make. Bake your own cookies, or use store-bought, like we did! You can also improvise and use other toppings for the eyes and nose.
Ingredients
- 1 doz Store-bought cookies or you can make your own.
- 1 Bag large marshmallows
- 1 Bag candy covered chocolates (any round candy will work as long as there is no logo)
- 20-24 Cheerios
- 1 Pint of strawberry store-bought icing
Preparation
If you will be making your own cookies, prepare and let cool.
After they have cooled, take three cookies and cut them into quarters. Set aside.
Take your marshmallows and cut them horizontally in half.
Take the whole cookies and start icing them with the pink icing. As you ice, add two quarter pieces for the ears and ice them as well. Once the cookies and quarter pieces are iced, glue them to each other. Don't be shy with the icing, add as much to keep the ears securely adhered to the round cookie. Once the icing dries, it will have a stronger hold.
When the entire cookies is iced and the ears are in place. Add the candy-covered chocolates for the eyes, place half the marshmallow for the beginnings of the snout.
Take the cheerios and lightly ice the back. Adhere the cheerios to the marshmallow, making a snout.
Presentation
Arrange on a plate and serve. They won't last long :-)
